To apply, you need to access the FenixEdu Portal.

If you have never been a student at FFUL, you must first create your account here.

If you already have a ULisboa account and you can’t remember your username or password, you should go to the ULisboa User’s Portal.

• After accessing the FenixEdu Portal, select the Applicant tab. Next, you will need to create your application, choosing the entry regime and the course. After these steps, you must fill in all the information requested in the electronic form.
• You must attach all the documents required for the application process in digital format.
• The application will only be considered valid once the application fee has been paid by the end of the application deadline for the respective phase.

Once the application evaluation process has been completed, the ranking list will be published on the FenixEdu Portal.

All notifications about the application process will be sent by email to the email address provided by the candidates.

Application fee: 75.00€ (seventy-five euros)

This fee will not be refunded if the candidate is excluded or not selected. In the event that the application is withdrawn, the amount already paid will not be refunded.

The Applicants must formalise their application with the following documents:

• Document proving possession of a bachelor’s or master’s degree, indicating the final grade;
• Curriculum Vitae duly updated, including documents proving the publications/activities mentioned in the CV;
• A motivation letter setting out the reasons for applying to this course;
• Copy of the Identification Card, Citizen Card, or Passport, for personal data validation, and one passport photo in colors;
• Other elements considered relevant by the candidate for the purposes of assessing the application.

Legalisation of Foreign Documents:

• Documents proving the applicant’s qualifications must be issued by the competent authority of the country where they were obtained and must be legalized if not issued in Portugal. Legalization must be completed by a Portuguese Consular Officer or through the Hague Apostille in the country of origin. If the documents are not in Portuguese, English, or Spanish, they must be translated into one of these languages.

International Students:

• In the application process, International Students must also submit a Declaration of Honour that they do not hold Portuguese nationality, nor are they covered by any of the conditions set out in article 3 of Decreto-Lei n.º 62/2018, of 6 August, which regulates the International Student Statute.

Final-year students:

• If the applicant has not yet completed their degree or does not possess the degree completion document at the time of application, they must specify the course they are currently completing or have already completed. As part of the application process, they must provide a Transcript of Records or an Achievement Certificate. Additionally, the Motivation Letter should state that they are in the process of completing their degree and include the expected completion date. The Statement of Honour – Confirmation of Degree Completion  must also be submitted.

Target: All students enrolled in FFUL’s 1st and 2nd cycles of studies can apply for extracurricular units following the deadlines established for this purpose. The tuition fee is calculated taking into account the number of ECTS in which the student is enrolled, namely 35€ per ECTS in the case of students enrolled in FFUL’s 2nd cycle of studies.

Application:

1. Access the FenixEdu Platform, using the access credentials;
   • In case you have lost access to your account, you can recover the password in the ULisboa User’s Portal.
2. In the Applicant tab, choose the type of application: “Extracurricular Units”;
3. Fill in the online form;
4. Select the “Submit”option.

Target: Individuals over the age of 16, with or without ties to higher education institutions and who are interested in attending individual course units.

Results: Dependent on the Dispatch of the Course Coordinator.

Documentation:

• Identification document (Identity Card / Citizen Card / Passport);
• Colour passport-type photograph;
• Curriculum Vitae, up to date;
• Certificate of academic qualifications;
• If you are registered in any ULisboa School you must also submit a statement from the School stating you are covered by the school insurance.

Application:

1. Carefully read Despacho n.º 4/2020 – Enrolment in Isolated Curricular Units at the FFUL (PT);
2. Carefully read the Standalone Course Units Application Manual (PT)
3. Access the FenixEdu Portal:
   • If you have never been a student at FFULisboa you must necessarily pre-register on the FenixEdu Portal;
   • If you are a former student of FFULisboa and have already had a Campus/Edu student account, you must access the FenixEdu Portal and authenticate yourself with your account data;
   • If you have lost access to your account, you can recover your password in the ULisboa User’s Portal;
   • If you are a former student of FFULisboa and have never had a Campus/Edu account you should send an email to mestrados@ff.ulisboa.pt indicating your full name and ID document number.
4. Choose the type of Application: “Isolated Course Units”;
5. Complete the online form and attach all documents in digital format;
6. Select the “Submit” option;
7. Pay the €10 application fee.

Selection criteria:

Applicants are selected by the Course Coordinator based on the following criteria:

• Number of places available for each course unit;
• Curriculum vitae;
• Qualification Certificate.

Registration limits:

• Registration depends on the availability of vacancies in each course unit;
• The maximum number of individual course units for which an applicant can register cannot exceed a total of 30 ECTS in each academic year;
• Registration in an course unit may be dependent on previous qualifications requirements that are considered essential for a minimum understanding of the information imparted and for the acquisition of course unit’s skills.

Fees and Tuition:

The rates and fees are as set out in the table included as an attachment to Despacho n.º 4/2020 (PT).

• Application Fee: €10
• Registration Fee: €25
• School Insurance: €2.10

Target: Students enrolled in any ULisboa School wishing to attend a course in FFULisboa that can be framed in their study plan.

Applicable legislation: ULisboa Student Mobility Dispatch (PT).

Application Conditions: Students should be enrolled in an ULisboa School.

Documentation: Statement issued by the ULisboa School’s Academic Office, indicating that the student is covered by the school insurance.

Application:

1. The student must apply for the enrollment at their ULisboa School;
2. The School formalizes the request with the Academic Services of FFULisboa;
3. After approval, the student must apply/enroll to the courses in the FenixEdu Portal:

• • If you have never been a student at FFULisboa, please create a username and password at FenixEdu Portal;
  • In case you already have a Campus@ULisboa account, you should access the FénixEdu Portal and enter your username and password for the Campus@ULisboa account;
    If you do not remember the credentials you can retrieve them in the ULisboa User’s Portal;
  • In case you have not a Campus@ULisboa account, please send us an email to mestrados@ff.ulisboa.pt with your full name and identification number.

5. Access to the FenixEdu Portal with your username and password;
6. Choose the “ULisboa Student Mobility” application, fill in the form and submit the requested documents;
7. Select the “Submit” option.

Fees and Tuition: No fees are charged to the student. The fee will be transferred between the home Institution, FFULisboa and the Rector’s Office of ULisboa.
