Integrated Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MICF) students are obliged to comply with the rules on attendance, in accordance with those laid down in:
Attendance is registered by the professor in each class.
Student attendance at practical classes is compulsory, and students whose attendance is less than 2/3 of the classes effectively taught will fail.
Student attendance at laboratory classes is compulsory, and students whose attendance is less than 2/3 of the classes effectively taught will fail.
Students covered by one of the Special Statutes provided for by law are subject to the legislation in force regarding attendance and assessment. Absences from practical and laboratory classes must always be duly justified.

Justification of Absences
Deadline: 5 working days after the absence.
Requests for justification of absence must be formalised exclusively in digital format, indicating the day, time and CU in question, together with the respective justification/proof on the Fénix Edu Portal.
After logging in to the Fénix Portal, the student should go to the ‘MyFenix’ tab and, under ‘Services’, click on ‘Requisitions’. Then click on ‘Create’ to submit the request.
Justification of Absences Manual (PT)
The requests are considered by the FFUL Integrated Master’s Coordination and, if accepted, the absences are justified to the professors responsible for the course units.
