The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universidade de Lisboa – represented by Madalena Pimentel and Carlos São José – is one of the organizers of this meeting that “intends to spotlight the most recent advances in ecology and evolution of microbial viruses, virus structures and function, virus-host interaction, agro-food, veterinary and environmental biotechnology applications and phage therapy.”

This Congress was scheduled for 13-17 July 2020, but due to the pandemic COVID-19 it was rescheduled for 18-22 July 2022.
