Application Conditions

The candidates should be:

1. Holders of a Master degree or legal equivalent in related fields to Pharmaceutical Sciences;
2. Holders of a Bachelor degree or legal equivalent , possessing a relevant academic or scientific curriculum that is recognized by the legal and statutorily competent body of the university where they wish to be admitted as attesting abilities to carry out this cycle of studies;
3. Exceptionally, holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum recognized by the Scientific Council as attesting abilities to carry out this cycle of studies.

The recognition referred in b) and c) will be based on recommendations issued by two professors or PhD researchers, considered experts in the scientific field of study applicable and appointed by the Coordinator of the corresponding cycle of studies.

Application Documents

• Application (written request) addressed to the President of the Scientific Council;
• Updated Curriculum Vitae, dated and signed;
• PhD Work Plan;
• PhD Course Plan;
  • Advanced Courses available here.
• Copy of certified transcripts showing all academic degrees awarded, with final grade (in English or Portuguese).

In case of foreign academic degrees, applicants must submit a degree certificate legally recognized by the Portuguese Consulate of the country of origin or by the Hague Apostille.

• Acceptance letter from supervisor(s);
• Copy of ID document (CC, passport, etc.) for personal data validation;
• International Student Declaration, in case of international students.

Application

1. Read carefully the Call for Applications of the course to which you want to apply.
2. Read carefully the Application Guide for PhD.
3. Access to the FenixEdu Platform:

• • If you have never been a student at FFUL, please create a username and password in the FenixEdu Platform.
  • If you have previously been a student at FFUL and you are registered at Campus@ULisboa or @edu.ulisboa.pt, please access to the FenixEdu Plataform and enter your email address and password. If you do not remember your credentials, please recover here.
  • If you have previously been a student at FFUL without a Campus@ULisboa or @edu.ulisboa.pt account, please send us an e-mail to doutoramentos@ff.ulisboa.pt with your full name and identity document number.

4. Access to FenixEdu platform with your username and password.
5. In the “Applicant” tab, choose the type of application: “PhD in Pharmacy Nationals and European Union citizens” or “PhD in Pharmacy International Students “.
6. Fill the online form and attach all documents in digital format.
7. Select the “Submit Application” option.
8. Pay the application fee (75,00 €).
