This advanced doctoral course aims to deepen knowledge about biomarkers, addressing their principles, applications, and detection and monitoring technologies, from identification to their use in drug development and clinical practice.
By exploring the latest advances in clinical and translational biomarkers, including their application in patient selection, therapeutic response, liquid biopsy, personalised medicine and clinical trials, the course also addresses the impact of digital health, with a focus on digital biomarkers, biosensors, wearable devices and remote monitoring solutions in drug development and diagnostics.
Aimed at FFUL doctoral students, it is also open to external members of the academic and scientific community.
