Learning outcomes

The PhD student and the supervisors, together with the Thesis Committee with mentorship roles, identify the best career development plan for each student in the PhD in Pharmacy and in each speciality, including core and complementary training, research, seminars and mobility. Training activities are diverse and include frequency of courses, laboratory rotations, and seminars at FFULisboa or other organic units of ULisboa, as well as outside ULisboa in other universities or in pharma and biotech companies. Elective advanced core courses emphasize the integrative and translational aspects of discovery and development of medicines. Elective laboratory rotations promote well-defined research methods competencies. Seminars stimulate oral and written communication with peers. Complementary training in transferable skills is encouraged.
