As of November 6, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon (FFUL) has officially become a member of ORPHEUS – Organisation for PhD Education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in the European System.
ORPHEUS is a European organization dedicated to promoting excellence in doctoral education in the fields of Biomedicine and Health Sciences. With over 140 member institutions, ORPHEUS serves as a collaborative platform that supports doctoral schools, supervisors, and students in developing high-quality PhD programs. It also publishes recommendations and guidelines to ensure best practices in doctoral training.
FFUL’s membership in ORPHEUS is a significant recognition of the quality and commitment of its advanced education and research programs. It reinforces the Faculty’s dedication to fostering scientific excellence and international collaboration in higher education.
