Degree in Biology by FCUL (Scientific Specialization) (1982); Master of Science in Plant Biology (Biotechnology) by FCUL (1988); PhD in Biology (Cell Biology) by FCUL (1999). In FFUL was Professor of Pharmaceutical Botany (1986-2019), Pharmacognosy (2011 to present), Medicinal Plants and Phytotherapy (2016 to present), of the MICF. Since 2007 is Member of the Jury of the Tests of Access for the FFUL 23 years Older. Research (iMed.ULisboa, Systems Integration Pharmacology, Clinical & Regulatory Science Group) in Pharmaceutical Botany, Ethnobotany and Ethnopharmacology, Herbal Medicines’ Control Methods, Biological activity in vitro.
