BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
José Augusto Guimarães Morais, is Emeritus Professor at Faculty of Pharmacy of Universidade de Lisboa, and former Dean. He has a Graduation and a PhD in Pharmacy. He was Chairman of the Portuguese Medicines Board (INFARMED); Member of CPMP/CHMP; Chairman of the Group of Experts on PK, and Member of PK Working Party at EMA. He gave more than 130 conferences and 150 communications, co-authored 100 articles; and supervised 18 PhD theses.
He was distinguished with many awards, among them: gold medal, Ministry of Health, and Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society; Alumni Distinguished Lifetime Achievement, Univ. Michigan; Grand Officer of Order of Public Instruction by the Presidency Portuguese Republic; Fellow of AAPS.
