Associate Professor with Habilitation in Microbiology is group leader of the Host-pathogen interactions unit iMed.ULisboa. She has more than 200 scientific publications in areas has tuberculosis and more recently on HIV co-infection. Anes has supervised more than 30 master, PhD students and postdoctorals. She has secured independent funding from public and private sources). Associate editor of Frontiers in Immunology and Certificated peer reviewer editor from different scientific journals and international agencies. Coordinated Cellular Biology (2007-2021) and presently she coordinates Immunology UC from MICF, at the 2^nd cycle coordinates Cellular Microbiology-MCBF and Microbiology and Health-MMA-FC.ULisboa. She Is a member of the Pedagogical Council.
