biographical note
Professor of Pharmacology, PharmD by FFUL (1994); MSc in Food Quality and Toxicology by FFUL (1998); PhD in Biochemistry by the University of Birmingham, UK (2003); Non-Clinical Safety Sci. and their Regulatory Aspects by FFUL&DIA (2009). Additionally she has been teaching Psychopharmacology, Pharmacotoxicology and drugs environment risk among other subjects in FFUL and in other universities since 2002. Supervises and participates in research projects in areas such as safety and health effects of bioactive compounds from marine, plant and food sources in animal models, in vitro/in vivo permeability and metabolism studies and cognitive dysfunction and safety of new psychoactive and old drugs.
