In the event of an accident, the student should contact FFUL Academic Office so that the respective process can be followed.

ACCIDENTS

Emergency Medical services

In emergency situations, the student is assisted in the emergency department of the nearest public hospital unit. Once the emergency has been overcome, the student should notify the Insurance Company.

 

Non-Urgent Situations

The student should choose a health facility and the expenses should be submitted afterwards for reimbursement.

When attending the healthcare provider, the student should present a copy of the Accident Report, identified with the insurance policy number.

ACCIDENT REPORT

The accident report should be made within a maximum period of 8 days directly to: sinistrospessoaisap@ageas.pt informing also the Academic Office.

Documentation that should be enclosed with the accident report:

  • Accident report form available on the AGEAS website;
  • Medical report of the first assistance;
  • Medical Expenses (Invoice or Receipt) and prescription;
  • Proof of IBAN, which includes the name of the account holder (for an ATM receipt to be accepted is necessary to have the name of the holder);
  • Identification of the student’s legal representative, if the student is a minor (full name of legal representative + tax number + date of birth + address)
