Pedro Góis has been recognized as Pioneering Investigator by Chemical Communication, a Journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry. This nomination follows Pedro Góis’s contribute to the 57º issue of the journal – Multivalent NHS-activated acrylates for orthogonal site-selective functionalisation of peptides at cysteine residues.

This is the second time the Full Professor receives a nomination from this journal – in 2014 was nominated Emerging Investigator.

Chemical Communication was founded more than fifteen years ago, and in this special issue showcases high quality research being carried out by international researchers who are established in their independent careers and have been recognised as making a significant contribution to their field.
