Evaluation

The evaluation methodology of each curricular units constant in the Integrated Master’s course should take into account the nature of its scientific content, the competences to be developed and the teaching and learning methods.

The evaluation rules of the curricular units are contained in the syllabus presented at the beginning of each school year, approved by the Pedagogical Council.

The evaluations are held in two seasons, Normal and Appeal, according to the schedule approved for each course. If the student fails at the Normal Season, they will be automatically enrolled at the Appeal one.

Students who are approved in a course unit can use the next two evaluation seasons (Normal and/or Appeal) to improve their grade and this can only be done once during the student’s academic journey.

Registration for improvement is done up to three working days before the evaluation date, on the FenixEdu Portal.

After logging in, go to the ‘Student’ tab and, under ‘Enrol’, click on ‘Evaluations’.

This enrolment can be cancelled up to two working days (until 4 pm) before the exam. To do so, students should contact the Academic Office at academicos@ff.ulisboa.pt.

Enrolment in Grade Improvement costs €15 per course unit.

Special Season (Internship Limitations) – February

Enrolment: Consult the Academic Deadlines Map.

For registration, students must send an email to academicos@ff.ulisboa.pt within the deadlines.

Target students:

  • Students who are missing, at most, two curricular units restrictive of Internship enrolment for the completion of the curricular component of the Integrated Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences – art. 33, c), iii) of the Regulations of the Integrated Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

CUs restrictive of Internship enrolment:

  • Pharmacokinetics and Biogenetics
  • Pharmaceutical Deontology and Legislation
  • Pharmacy Laboratory
  • Pharmacy Practice
  • Pharmacotherapy I
  • Pharmacotherapy II
  • Public Health

Applications for grade improvement are not accepted.

Special Season – July

Enrolment: Consult the Academic Deadlines Map.

Students must register through the FenixEdu Portal within the deadlines.

After logging in, go to the ‘Student’ tab and, under ‘Enrol’, click on ‘Evaluations’.

The Special Season is only for:

  • Students who are three curricular units short of completing the curricular component of the MICF.
  • Students holding a Special Statute, up to a limit of three curricular units.

Applications for grade improvement are not accepted.

On the day of the evaluation, students must collect the signature of the professor in charge and submit the Attendance Statement on the FenixEdu Portal in order to be signed with a digital mobile key and returned to students by the same means.

To do so, students should follow the following steps: MyFenix » Services » Requisitions » Create » Requisition Type: Declaração de Presença » Registration: MICF » Create.

Students can request a reexamination of the exam within four working days of the grades being published by submitting a request to the Pedagogical Council and paying the corresponding fee (€20).

The request can only be made after consulting the exam.

The reexamination will be carried out by the professors responsible for the CUs, who must give their verdict within a maximum of five working days from the date of reception of the notification sent by the Pedagogical Council, justifying the classification awarded in a report.

The reexamination of the exam may imply an increase, maintenance or decrease in the classification previously obtained by the student in that exam.

  1. Access to the Fenix Portal: After logging in to the FenixEdu Portal, the student must access the ‘MyFenix’ tab and, under ‘Services’, click on ‘Requisitons’, and then on ‘Create’ to submit the request.
  2. Submitting the request: Fill in the form with the required data and submit the request.
  3. Analysis by the Academic Office: Your request will be analysed and validated by the Academic Office.
  4. Dispatch by the Pedagogical Council: The Pedagogical Council will give its verdict on your request.
  5. Fee refund: If there is an increase in classification, the process will automatically be forwarded to the Treasury and the review fee will be reimbursed.
