Course Objectives
This course aims to disseminate to the scientific and professional community the current state of the art on genetics and its application to biological studies relevant to the discovery of biomarkers, to the understanding of disease mechanisms, as well as current tools for their study and therapeutic strategies for genetic modulation. This course will project the activity developed at FFUL in an area of great importance in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, at national and international levels.

Target audience
This course is intended to professionals, teachers, researchers and students who wish to deepen their knowledge in the area of the blood-brain barrier, namely, Pharmacists, Doctors, Biomedicals, Biologists, Biochemists, and Chemists, among others.
