Course Objectives
The aim of this Course is to disseminate throughout the scientific and professional community the state-of-the-art concepts about the blood-brain barrier, namely its relevance as an obstacle for treatment of brain disorders and the strategies that have been used for drug delivery to the brain, as well as the models and tools that can be used for its study

Target audience
This course is intended to professionals, teachers, researchers and students who wish to deepen their knowledge in the area of the blood-brain barrier, namely, Pharmacists, Doctors, Biomedicals, Biologists, Biochemists, and Chemists, among others.
