PhD students who dont owe any annual fee and who, for reasons duly justified and approved by the respective 3rd cycle coordinator, wish to have more time to write their thesis, should request an extension, being subject to the payment of a monthly fee, calculated on the annual PhD fee, until the thesis is delivered.
Documents to be submitted before the submission deadline:
- Request;
- Advisor’s Statement, with a detailed justification for the need to extend the deadline.
The documents must be duly signed and must be submitted through the FenixEdu Platform:
Access the FenixEdu Platform, under “Applicant” and select the option “Extension of the deadline for submission of final work (3rd cycle)“.
