Graça Soveral, Full Professor and Vice-Dean of the School of Pharmacy University of Lisbon, has been elected vice-president of FEBS (Federation of European Biochemical Societies) for 2023, and as President for 2024.
FEBS was founded on the 1st of January of 1964 an is one of Europe’s largest organizations in the molecular life sciences. It has over 35000 members across more than 35 biochemistry and molecular biology societies in different countries of Europe and neighbouring regions. FEBS supports biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, molecular biophysics and related research areas.
