Dr. Vale is an Assistant Researcher at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon, Portugal. Her research interests span pathogen genomics and phage biology, particularly Helicobacter phage genomics, evolution and biomedical applications. Dr. Vale has a degree in Microbial biology and genetics, a degree in Informatics Engineering (University of Lisbon), a Master in Health Engineering (Catholic University of Portugal), a Master in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (University of Lisbon), and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (Catholic University of Portugal).
