Inês Isabel Fernandes Bártolo

Inês Bártolo graduated in Microbiology and Genetics, in FCUL, in 1999. In 2005, she completed a MS degree in Emerging Infectious Diseases in FMUL and in 2011 her PhD degree in Pharmacy (Microbiology) in FFUL. Since march 2019 she holds a Junior Investigator position at FFUL in HIV Evolution, Epidemiology and Prevention Group. Her main research interests are the search for new compounds with anti-HIV activity and activity against several respiratory viruses including SARS-Cov-2. Inês has published 28 papers in international journals. She has presented 73 communications in scientific meetings, 17 of which were oral communications. She has received several scientific awards, scholarships and distinctions.
