Filipa Siopa is a researcher. She obtained a Chemistry Degree from the Faculty of Science, University of Lisbon and a Chemistry PhD from the Faculty of Science and Technology, New University of Lisbon. Her research focuses on the development of new synthetic methodologies, flow chemistry, biomass valorization, synthesis of bioactive molecules and total synthesis. She is responsible for supervising doctoral, masters and undergraduate students including in collaboration with the Sorbonne Université (Paris). She is part of the coordination team of the European project Twining European Ref. 951996 “Biomass4Synthons”. She is co-author of >25 articles and 3 chapters of the RSC book.
