Objetives
This course aimed to present the evolution of the national and European regulatory landscape and to discuss definitions, methods for evaluation and the state of the art of Therapeutic Effectiveness and Comparative Therapeutic Effectiveness.
Meta-analysis, systematic reviews, real world evidence, big data well as cohort and pragmatic trials will be addressed.
International Regulatory Perspective as well as the challenges and opportunities for this approach in Health Technology Assessment will be addressed and discussed.

Teaching methodology: through lectures, case studies.
To whom the course is designed
Course recipients: PhD Students, RAMPS students or other Master Students, Academics and Health Care Professionals.
Access qualifications: Master in Biomedical Sciences ( Mestrado Integrado em Ciências Médicas ou Farmacêuticas).
Learning and skills to be acquired by the student: Learn about basic concepts on Therapeutic Effectiveness and its role in the Regulatory and HTA system.
Fee
The payment of 35,00 € is by bank transfer to IBAN and the transfer receipt (Proof of Bank Transfer) should be sent to posgraduados@ff.ulisboa.pt until April 26, 2019. Registration will only be valid receipt of the payment proof.
Evaluation
Evaluation methodology: assessment through a report made in an individual basis.
