The Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universidade de Lisboa (FFUL) and the Racine Institute have joined forces to establish the ‘RACINE Pharmaceutical Sciences Award’. This initiative, which stems from the Educational Cooperation Protocol signed on 12 November 2025 between the two entities, has as its main objective to encourage research and scientific rigour, recognising Pharmaceutical Sciences as a strategic area for society.

The award regulations were formalised by the Director of the Racine Institute, Dr Sergio Slan Zrawar, and the Director of FFUL, Prof.ª Doutora Graça Soveral.

The award will be presented annually to the best student on the Internship module of the Integrated Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MICF) and consists of free attendance at one or more postgraduate courses offered by the Racine Institute, with tuition fees waived up to a maximum of €1,300.00.
