Last Friday, FFUL’s researchers responded to the invitation to take part in the World Café, an initiative integrated into the Faculty’s application for the HR Excellence in Research Award. The aim of this meeting was to consult the research community in order to identify, in light of the four pillars established in the European Charter for Researchers, which practices are already implemented by the institution, which ones require improvement, and which proposals may contribute to strengthening them.
The event took place over four rounds — one for each pillar — and each group had the opportunity to exchange ideas, identify gaps and give suggestions. In an informal and relaxed atmosphere, participants expressed their appreciation of the initiative, describing it as very positive.
The next step in the application process for the HR Excellence in Research seal involves continuing the collection of input for a gap analysis (through surveys, focus groups and interviews), which will make it possible to identify areas for improvement in a structured manner and to define a strategy for implementing the proposals presented.
