Adelaide Fernandes, Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universidade de Lisboa (FFUL) and Researcher at the Institute for Medicines Research (iMed.ULisboa)) at FFUL, received the Women 3.0 Award – Health category – 2025 Edition, at a ceremony held on 6 March 2026 at the Taguspark Panoramic Restaurant.
Organised by CPL Events & Consultancy, the Women 3.0 Awards stand out for celebrating pioneering women who, by driving change, demonstrate exceptional leadership and remarkable achievements in their contribution to the advancement of the economy, society and the transition of technology, industry and sustainability, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and an equitable society.
With a consolidated international profile, this edition awarded 14 different prizes in the areas of Health, Academia, Associations, Science and Technology, Communication, Culture, Politics, among others, celebrating stories of leadership, innovation and transformation that inspire and shape the future.
Adelaide Fernandes had already been honoured in 2017 with the international innovation award ‘Grant for Multiple Sclerosis Innovation Award (GMSI)’, awarded by Merck KGaA, which highlighted the professor’s work in the field of multiple sclerosis.
