Learning outcomes

This unit aims to teach and to transfer competence to the student in order to:

  • Enable the understanding of disease mechanisms and the most important pathological processes, as well as the correct interpretation of signs and symptoms and laboratory diagnostic tests associated with
  • Acquire an adequate vocabulary, so that the technical terms used in the description of pathological processes such as the symptoms of disease are understood
  • Have a better understanding of the clinical and laboratory diagnosis of the most frequent pathologies, based on the analysis and interpretation of clinical and laboratory data
