Learning outcomes

In this curricular unit students will attend seminars presented in the context of topics of interest to the masters course. The students will develop skills in several areas.
As the curricular unit will be held in the 2nd year of the course, each student individually, will present his work on the research project and at the end of the presentation will answer questions presented by the teachers and colleagues.


Guest speakers will present topics of interest for master course, as scientific subjects, for example: Food supplements, Functional foods, Design of clinical trials, Bioavailability evaluation, Clinical Nutrition (geriatrics and diseases), Nutritional and Health claims, The health literacy and nutrition and marketing communications.

Students will present their own seminars on the topics studied in the research project.
