Learning outcomes

The learning goal for the Food Immunotoxicology curricular unit is that students understand the immunological mechanisms that are associated with pathological situations arising from the interference of food, microbiological contaminants or their metabolites,with the Immune System, which lead to diseases such as : food allergies, food intolerances such as celiac disease, sepsis originating from bacterial toxins and toxicities resulting from the action of mycotoxins.
This wide range of information intends for the acquisition of skills that allow a professional performance of excellence in their field.
