-to acquire knowledge through the thepaedagogic theory of “constructivism”
-To be part and interact with in an hands-on environment
-to develop skills to provide the best possible answer for the stated problem
-to gather and process the right information
-to acquire tactics to decide on a strategy needed to achieve pre-determined goals
-to understand the need of sharing findings for which they actively have contributed
Project-Based Learning is supported in aneducation methodology centered on the learner and may have its roots in “constructivism”, which states that knowledge is constructed through interacting with the environment. Because there is the need to provide the best possible answer for the stated problem, students become aware of the responsibility to gather and process the right information, to decide on a strategy and learn everything about the methods needed to achieve all pre-determined goals. Sharing findings, for which they actively have contributed, with others, helps boosting the learning process.
