The symposium “Brain in Action – From Endogenous to Induced Brain Plasticity” will take place on March 26, 2026, at RÓMULO – Centro Ciência Viva, University of Coimbra.
This free event, sponsored by IBRO, will bring together distinguished national and international speakers, providing a valuable scientific opportunity for the research community to engage with leading experts in the fields of brain plasticity, neuronal reprogramming, and neurogenesis.
The event will bring together distinguished national and international experts in the fields of brain plasticity, neuronal reprogramming, and neurogenesis, including invited speakers such as Magdalena Götz from LMU Munich (Germany), Jens Christian Schwamborn from the University of Luxembourg, and Luísa Pinto from the ICVS at the University of Minho, among other internationally recognised researchers.
The symposium will conclude with a roundtable discussion on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Neuroscience, supported by the World Women in Neuroscience (WWN) network.
